Elgato Game Capture HD for Windows and XSplit integration Last Updated: Jun 26, 2014 06:28AM PDT

Elgato Game Capture HD for Windows now is fully integrated with XSplit.

XSplit is a professional level streaming solution, that works with a wide number of services.

XSplit is only available for Windows at this time.

 
Download Necessary Software


You will need XSplit 1.2 or above.   You can get that version from:

XSplit has three licenses:  Premium, Personal and Free Trial.  Each license level may have a subscription fee associated with it.

You will also need Elgato Game Capture HD 1.2.1 for Windows, or above.

XSplit Integration with Elgato Game Capture HD


After you sign up for an XSplit account, or enter your existing XSplit account information, you will be presented with the main XSplit window.

Elgato Game Capture HD software, from Elgato, should not be running when you attempt to use the Elgato Game Capture HD hardware with XSplit.

You can add Elgato Game Capture HD as a Camera source, via the File menu, or the Add button at the bottom left corner of the XSplit window.

 

 

The Elgato Game Capture HD source will appear in XSplit.

 


You can right-click on it to adjust your options, such as Cam, Color or Delay.

Cam will let you Pause or Mute the Elgato Game Capture HD camera source.

 


 
Color will let you change the Picture or Chroma Key of the Elgato Game Capture HD camera source.

 
 
 
Layout will let you change the Position, 3D Position, or Cropping of the Elgato Game Capture HD camera source.

 


Cam will also let you Configure the Elgato Game Capture HD hardware.   Select Video Input, and you'll see a Settings window directly from the Elgato Game Capture HD hardware.
