Elgato Stream Deck — Twitch API Migration

Starting February 14, Twitch will conduct a 1-hour shutdown of one of its older API endpoints at 1:30 pm EST.

This shutdown means users using Stream Deck on 6.0.3 or older will only work if updated to 6.0.4 or later.

 

Twitch API Scheduled Maintenance

 

2023-02-14 @ 1:30 pm EST: 3 hours

2023-02-16 @ 1:30 pm EST: 5 hours

2023-02-21 @ 1:30 pm EST: 24 hours

2023-02-24 @ 1:30 pm EST Permanent

 

Stream Deck 6.0.3 or older

 

If you are on Stream Deck on 6.0.3 or older, you will experience a temporary outage starting February 14 and more in the following days.

 

Twitch will shut down the older API entirely on February 24, and plugin versions earlier than 1.7 will stop working.

Download the latest Stream Deck app at elgato.com/downloads.

 

Stream Deck 6.0.4 or later
