We are writing to let you know that there may have been unauthorized access to some Twitch user account information.
For your protection, we have expired passwords and stream keys and have disconnected accounts from Twitter and YouTube. As a result, you will be prompted to create a new password the next time you attempt to log into your Twitch account.
We also recommend that you change your password at any website where you use the same or a similar password. We will communicate directly with affected users with additional details.
All Elgato Game Capture HD and Elgato Game Capture HD60 users who use Twitch to stream will have to reset their passwords, and then re-enter them into the Elgato Game Capture HD software.
If you don't do this, then when you try to stream you will get an error message. It might be a 500 error, or it may say Invalid Credentials User Name or Password.
If you try to add your account and put in your password again, Elgato Game Capture HD will tell you that your Twitch user name and password is incorrect - Invalid Credentials User Name or Password.
