All Elgato Game Capture HD and Elgato Game Capture HD60 users who use Twitch to stream will have to reset their passwords, and then re-enter them into the Elgato Game Capture HD software.
If you don't do this, then when you try to stream you will get an error message. It might be a 500 error, or it may say Invalid Credentials User Name or Password.
If you try to add your account and put in your password again, Elgato Game Capture HD will tell you that your Twitch user name and password is incorrect - Invalid Credentials User Name or Password.
Elgato Game Capture HD Software - Solution
All Twitch users should visit the Twitch website and create a new password. You will be prompted to create a new password the next time you attempt to log into your Twitch account.
Then, perform these steps in the Elgato Game Capture HD software:
1) Go to the Live Streaming section
2) Select your Twitch account
3) Press the "-" (minus) button, which is to the right of your account name, to remove it
4) Press the "+" (plus) button, and select Twitch as your choice:
5) Enter your existing Twitch account name, and new password
Now you can start streaming again using the Elgato Game Capture HD software.
OBS and XSplit - Solution
You will need to go to your Twitch account via a web browser, reset your password, and then acquire a new Stream Key.
You will find that key when you login to http://twitch.tv/broadcast and press "Show Key"
After this is accomplished, enter this new information into the settings of OBS or XSplit, so that streaming will work again.
