Windows 7 N editions are special versions available for people in the European Economic Area, Croatia, and Switzerland.

Elgato Video Capture cannot be launched under Windows 7 N or Windows 7 KN versions, due to missing components.

If you are using Windows 7 N or Windows 7 KN you need to install Microsoft's Media Feature Pack to get the missing components.
