You can now change the Soundboard playback output device in Elgato Stream Deck, using the latest Windows 10 update.
Starting with the Windows 10 April 2018 Update (Version 1803), Windows can natively change the output device on a per-app basis. This means that if you want to set Elgato Stream Deck to output to a different device, separate from your gameplay for clean audio recording or better control, you can now do that.
For this to work, you will need to be running the Windows 10 April 2018 Update (Version 1803) or newer.
To check which version of Windows you have installed, type "winver" in the search bar and hit enter.
To access the output settings:
1. Right click on the speaker icon in the task bar and click on "Open Sound Settings"
2. Scroll down and click on "App volume and device preferences"
3. For the Elgato Stream Deck app, you can now pick the "Output" device.
Please Note: If you don't see Stream Deck listed, play one of your Soundboard actions. Stream Deck will then be shown and you can change the output settings.
