Can I connect Elgato Thunderbolt™ 2 Dock to my computer using USB?

You cannot connect Elgato Thunderbolt™ 2 Dock directly to your computer using an USB 2.0 or 3.0 cable.

Elgato Thunderbolt™ 2 Dock must be connected to your Mac or PC using a Thunderbolt™ cable in order for it to function.
