The Windows 10 April 2018 Update (1803) introduced new privacy settings that may interfere with certain capture cards and camera devices.

Fixing Camera Problems
The solution for Cameras:
1. In Windows search, type "camera privacy" and hit enter.
2. On the left sidebar, under App Permissions, click on Camera.
3. Find the toggle under "Allow apps to access your camera" and set it to on.
4. On Windows 11, "Let desktop app access your camera" also has to be turned on.

Fixing Microphone Problems
The solution for Microphones:
1. In Windows search, type "microphone privacy" and hit enter.
2. On the left sidebar, under App Permissions, click on Microphone.
3. Find the toggle under "Allow apps to access your microphone" and set it to on.
