How do I select the HDMI audio output of Elgato Thunderbolt™ 2 Dock?

The following article is for a product that is now considered Legacy (EOL) status. Because of this, the information below may not match what is possible with current Elgato hardware and software.

The HDMI audio output of Elgato Thunderbolt™ 2 Dock will appear in the System Preferences > Sound > Output window.

However, it will be labeled as DisplayPort, and not HDMI.
