If you connect your Elgato hardware device to your PC, Windows 7 will normally find the drivers for your product automatically and install it. If you experience problems please proceed as follows
Checking if Driver has been Installed Correctly
How can I check if a driver has been installed correctly
Open “Devices and Printers” from Start menu.
You should see your product with its name and a corresponding icon.
In this case right click on the device and choose “Troubleshoot” from the menu
Follow the instructions.
If Windows does not find a driver for you device, please install the driver manually.
Manual Installation of Driver: Install from CD
If Windows reports problems with the automatic driver installation or your don’t have access to the internet you can also install the drivers manually.
Insert the enclosed EyeTV-CD in your drive and wait until the autostarter application is launched
If the autostarter does not open automatically

Download the driver installer for your product from the Elgato website.
Disconnect the device from the computer.
Start the downloaded driver installer and follow the instructions.
Reconnect the device.
Windows will find and install the new driver.

- Go to CD/DVD drive
- Double-click “Autorun.ex
- Choose your Elgato hardware device from the list and click “Install driver”.
