Xbox One X and Xbox One S offers video output at up to 4K (3840 x 2160).
Xbox One X and Xbox One S offer HDR (High Dynamic Range) color output as an option.
While Xbox One S does offer an output resolution of 4K (3840x2160), it does not have the capability of rendering games at full 4K resolution. This Xbox model will upscale games from 1080p (1920x1080) or other lower resolutions to 4K when connecting to a 4K display or capture device.
The original launch Xbox One console provides output resolutions up to 1080p (1920x1080) in SDR (Standard Dynamic Range). All of our current range of capture devices can capture video at the maximum quality from an original launch Xbox One at 1080p60 in SDR.
