Elgato Game Capture 4K60 Pro MK.2 – How to Play HDR video on a Standard Definition Display

HDR video needs to be processed or “Tonemapped” before it can be played back on a standard display. If the video is not tonemapped it will look gray and washed out.

  • Playback of HEVC requires the installation of the HEVC codec from the Microsoft store.
