4K60 S+ connects to the Xbox Series X/S using HDMI.  It can passthrough video to a TV set also using HDMI.  An HDMI cable is included in the box.

Inputs and Outputs

4K60 S+ has one HDMI input, one HDMI output, one USB output, one power input, and a slot for a SD card


HDMI In

This connects to a game console or other video source.  Signals protected by HDCP can't be used.

HDMI Out

This sends the HDMI signal in real time to a TV or display, so you can play your game normally.


USB Out

This USB-C port sends the captured video to your computer via USB 3.x. The USB captured video preview has a latency of around 250 milliseconds (ms). 

USB Power adapter

Required to power the 4K60 S+ for both standalone PC free recording to SD card and recording to a PC via USB 3.0

SD Card Slot

This allows you to record up to 4K content directly to an SD card of your choice with just the touch of a button.

 

Setup Steps

1) Download and install the 4K Capture Utility software, version 1.7.2 or higher:

2) Connect your Xbox Series X/S to the HDMI In of 4K60 S+ via an HDMI cable

3) Connect the HDMI Out of 4K60 S+ to your TV or display via an HDMI cable.

4) Plug the USB-C cable into the Power In slot on the 4K60 S+ to your compatible wall outlet.

5) To capture video directly onto a PC using the 4K Capture Utility, or stream using software such as OBS Studio, connect a USB cable to the 4K60 S+ USB port labeled 'USB' and connect the other end to a Windows PC. 

To record onto SD card, do not connect the USB cable to a Windows PC.
