What's new in Wave Link 3.0.0 Beta Update 2?
🔒 Lock default input and output devices
Windows automatically changes the input and output device on its own when new devices are connected or disconnected, and does so without telling you. Now, in Wave Link 3.0 you can lock the device selection and specify a device. Wave Link will always ensure those devices are used, even when Windows changes them.
- To lock input and output devices, head to Settings > General
🤏 Compact Mode
Compact mode is now available for Wave Link on Windows, matching macOS. You can now use Wave Link 3.0 in a smaller window, perfect for using it for simple OS-audio level control or a quick glance.
- Engage compact mode by clicking on the button at the top right of Wave Link.
📶 Mix level meters show post-FX audio
Output mix level meters have been changed to reflect the audio level after audio effect processing and volume adjustment, showing the real levels which are sent to a mix.
💪 Windows-on-ARM support
This beta update introduces ARM support, meaning Wave Link 3.0 now runs on computers with ARM-based CPUs, primarily Copilot+ devices.
