Perform a Firmware Update
Firmware updates for Facecam have resolved reported issues of stuttering and/or frozen video, in particular Apple Silicon (M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max) Macs.

Change USB transfer mode
Changing the transfer mode from bulk to isoc, or isoc to bulk can help resolve stuttering issues. This is available on the following:
- Cam Link (10GAC9901)
- Cam Link 4K (Model 10GAM9901)
- Facecam (OG)
- Facecam Pro

Try a different dock or adapter
Thunderbolt Docks and USB adapter cables vary in quality and performance.
If Facecam is connected to your Mac via a Thunderbolt Dock or USB adapter, try a different dock or adapter.
USB Hubs are not supported
USB hubs can often cause problems due to USB devices competing for bandwith.
Using a USB hub with Facecam is not supported. Please connect Facecam directly to your Mac.
