Status lights on Elgato Game Capture HD60

Elgato Game Capture HD60 has a strip of LED lights that have various general meanings, depending on their color, duration, and what direction they are traveling in.

 


 Device Connected




When Elgato Game Capture HD60 connects to the computer, seven white lights will briefly flash twice, all at the same time.

 


HDCP On




If Elgato Game Capture HD60 detects a signal protected by HDCP, then seven red lights will briefly flash once, all at the same time.

 


Live Commentary On




When Live Commentary starts, six white lights will briefly flash three times, and one red light will stay on until the white lights disappear.

 


Live Commentary Off




When Live Commentary stops, six white lights will briefly flash once, and one red light will stay on until the white lights disappear.

 


Live Streaming On




When Live Streaming starts, seven white lights will travel from the HDMI In to HDMI Out ports, repeating twice.

 


Live Streaming Off




When Live Streaming stops, seven white lights will travel from the HDMI Out to HDMI In ports, repeating twice.

 


Recording Started




When Recording starts, seven red lights will travel from the HDMI In to HDMI Out ports, repeating twice.

 


Recording Stopped




When Recording stops, seven red lights will travel from the HDMI Out to HDMI In ports, repeating twice.

 


Signal Lost




When the signal is lost, seven red lights will flash once, all at the same time.

 


Software Started




When the Elgato Game Capture HD software starts, seven white lights will flash once, traveling from the middle to both edges.

 


Software Stopped




When the Elgato Game Capture HD software stops, seven white lights will flash once, traveling from the edges to the middle.
