What’s New in Marketplace Connect 2.0
Marketplace Connect 2.0 levels you up from installing themes to shipping complete broadcast systems in OBS, with Stream Deck control built in.
🛠️ Stream Deck Integration
Scene Collections can now include Stream Deck profiles and individual actions.
When installing, you can choose to:
- Add a full Stream Deck profile (XL, MK.2, Mini, Neo, or Virtual Stream Deck), or
-
Merge selected actions into an existing profile you already use.
This lets Makers ship Scene Collections that feel “ready to run” the moment they’re installed.
🛠️ Configure panel
After installing a Scene Collection, a Configure panel appears to help you finish setup in one place. Use it to:
- Install needed fonts and plugins
-
Set up Stream Deck profiles and actions for that collection
You can reopen the Configure panel anytime from Marketplace Connect while a Scene Collection is active.
🛠️ Declared dependencies
Makers can now declare required resources—such as plugins, fonts, or drivers—directly in their export.
During install, Marketplace Connect surfaces these requirements with clear prompts and one-click Get buttons, so you’re not hunting for missing pieces after the fact.
🛠️ Versioned maker exports
When exporting, Makers can now assign version numbers to their Scene Collections (for example, 2.0.0).
Versioned exports make it easier to:
- Track which version is installed
- Distribute updates with confidence
- Enable future update notifications in Marketplace
🛠️ Final Output Scenes
Scene Collections can now include clearly labeled Final Output Scenes.
These are “safe merge” targets designed to drop cleanly into an existing OBS setup—ideal when you want to integrate a new broadcast system without replacing your current collection.
🛠️ Stability & polish
Marketplace Connect 2.0 also includes under-the-hood improvements to keep installs smooth and reliable, including:
- Better handling of media paths
- More reliable imports for large Scene Collections
- A smoother Install → Configure → Stream Deck setup flow overall
