These recommendations may help when Elgato Game Capture 4K60 S+ is used and there is no signal or USB related errors.
Check all Cable Connections
Check that each cable is plugged in correctly and no connections are loose. If needed, reseat the cable.
Check that the Correct Power Supply is Used
Use only the power supply that came with the Elgato Game Capture 4K60 S+. If you have lost or cannot otherwise use the power supply, please contact our support team by going to http://e.lga.to/help.
Check the Status LEDs
When the Elgato Game Capture 4K60 S+ is turned on and ready to go, a small orange LED will glow. If there are issues such as an unrecognized signal or no SD card, the orange light will flash a specific LED code.

Check the HDMI Cables
Check that the HDMI cables are plugged into the correct HDMI ports.
The cable from the console connects to the HDMI in port.
The cable from the Elgato Game Capture 4K60 S+ HDMI out port connects to the TV/Monitor.
Please make sure your source is using a resolution that Elgato Game Capture 4K60 S+ supports:
Check the TV/Monitor Input
Check that the TV/Monitor is set to the correct input
Using a remote or buttons on the TV/Monitor, check that the correct HDMI input is selected.
Turn Off HDCP
If the input is a PlayStation 4 or PS4 Pro, check that HDCP has been disabled
By default, all PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro systems have HDCP activated on a system wide level.
HDCP needs to be turned off for Elgato Game Capture 4K60 S+ to be able to capture from a PlayStation.

Restart the Connected Input Source
Sometimes a console or PC won't output the right resolution or gets stuck with HDCP enabled.
In this case, hold the power button for a time until the device powers off, then power it back on again.
USB 3 - Troubleshooting
Please make sure that the device receives the power by the provided power adapter and USB 3 cable. It's important to use a wall power outlet and not trying to power the device via a USB 3 connection to the computer.
In standalone mode, this will be the only USB 3 cable in use.
In PC Mode, you also need to connect to the Computers USB 3 Port via the second provided USB 3 cable
