Elgato Stream Deck Pedal — Discord Plugin Setup

 

This guide will cover installing the Discord Plugin. With native Mute and Push-to-Talk functions, this plugin is a must-have for any Discord & Stream Deck users.

 

Discord Plugin Setup

 

Before we begin, ensure you have the latest Discord Plugin from the Stream Deck store.

 

1 ) Open the Stream Deck app and open the image-20220120172358793.png Store

 

2 ) Click on Plugins

 

3 ) Search for Discord and install it. Once installed, drag any action to a blank key.

4 ) Once an action has been set, press it, and a Discord Authorization message will pop up. Click on "Authorize."

5 ) Once Authorized, the Discord plugin is ready to go. Note actions have a rate limit. This means spamming actions can cause them to become unresponsive.

6 ) If the Discord plugin is not working, ensure Stream Deck is authorized with Discord. Drag any action to a key and if a "Request Access" button appears, click it to allow it. (Refer to Step 4)
