Elgato's Warranty Policy: Place of Purchase

In the United States of America, Elgato-branded products are only covered by Corsair's warranty if they are purchased from Corsair.com or a Corsair-authorized reseller.

Corsair's warranty will not be available if you purchase Elgato-branded products from an unauthorized reseller.

Items purchased from individuals through any channel, including through the Amazon Marketplace platform, are not covered under the warranty.

Amazon Marketplace VS Amazon as a Reseller

Amazon is both a reseller/distributor of products and also an online sales platform for many other sellers, including Elgato. Amazon as a reseller uses Amazon Marketplace, but not every item on the Amazon Marketplace platform is sold by Amazon.

The Amazon Marketplace allows third party individuals and unauthorized resellers to sell Elgato products through Amazon's website. These third party sellers using Amazon are not considered authorized resellers and therefore devices purchased this way do not qualify for Elgato's 2 year warranty.

Authorized Resellers on the Amazon Marketplace

The only resellers authorized to sell Elgato products through the Amazon Marketplace are Corsair, Elgato, and Amazon.com.
