Supported resolutions for Elgato Game Capture HD

Elgato Game Capture HD can record video sources that use the following resolutions:

240i (Composite or S-Video input, using software version 1.2.1 or higher)
320 by 240 resolution

480i (HDMI, Component, Composite or S-Video input, using software version 1.2.1 or higher)
720 by 480 resolution

480p (HDMI or Component input)
720 by 480 resolution

576i (HDMI, Component, Composite or S-Video input, using software version 1.2.1 or higher)
720 by 576 resolution

576p (HDMI or Component input)
720 by 576 resolution

720p (HDMI or Component input)
1280 by 720 resolution

1080i (HDMI or Component input)
1920 by 1080 resolution

1080p (HDMI or Component input, using software version 1.1 or higher)
​1920 by 1080 resolution

Please Note: 480i and 480p are supported, but not at 640 x 480 resolution.  720 x 480 resolution is supported.
