What does this mean for Game Capture HD owners?
What does End of Life (EOL) mean?
End of Life means that we are no longer manufacturing Game Capture HD. While the product may still be available for purchase at some retail destinations today, once it is sold out, it is gone for good.
I own a Game Capture HD, can I still get support if I have questions or issues?
Game Capture HD will continue to be supported by our tech support team via phone, email, and social media. If you have questions or issues, please don’t hesitate to contact us to receive assistance.
What if my Game Capture HD needs an exchange?
All Game Capture HD units are completely sold out, and none are left for an exchange.
Will my Game Capture HD stay supported in your software?
Game Capture HD will remain supported in Game Capture software. However, Game Capture HD will not be supported in our 4K Capture Utility app.
How do I record retro game systems now that Game Capture HD is EOL?
While our current line of capture cards feature HDMI input only, you can easily connect retro consoles to them using RCA to HDMI converters that can be had for around $20, usually referred to as "AV2HDMI" or "RCA to HDMI", such as this one.
