Cam Link works with standard USB 3.x ports

The following article is for a product that is now considered Legacy (EOL) status. Because of this, the information below may not match what is possible with current Elgato hardware and software.

Cam Link has a USB 3.0 connector.

Newer computers may only have USB-C ports. You may need a USB Type-A to Type-C adapter. Ensure it meets or exceeds USB 3.0 data requirements.

Cam Link is not expected to work with USB 2.0 ports at all.
