Capturing video from iOS has an inherent delay of 500ms due to the iOS framework being used. Apple has been contacted by our Developers in an effort to reduce this latency even further.

Additional latency may be introduced by the quality of the Wi-Fi connection.  

Screen Link intelligently adapts latency and bitrate to provide the best compromise between latency and quality without introducing audio/video dropouts or extremely high latency.

When using Screen Link initially, the latency between the iOS device and the computer may be higher, as Screen Link requires multiple sessions to learn about the network conditions and set the optimal latency.
