This guide will go over how to configure the Multiview functionality of Cam Link Pro.
Configuration of Multiview is done by using 4K Capture Utility or Stream Deck.

Configure with 4K Capture Utility
Multiview is a unique feature of Cam Link Pro. It enables all four HDMI inputs to be assigned in different layouts, and then output into software that traditionally only accepts a single video input - For example video conference apps like Zoom, Slack or Teams.
Multiview can be configured into different layouts:
Fullscreen
Picture-in-Picture
Side-by-Side
Triple
Quad
Configure Multiview with 4K Capture Utility
System Requirements:
- Cam Link Pro installed in a desktop PC
- 4K Capture Utility 1.7.4 or newer installed
1) Open 4K Capture Utility
2) Open the settings at the top right
3) Navigate to the Device tab
4) From the Device dropdown menu select Cam Link Pro HDMI 1 / Multiview
The Multiview layout dropdown menu is used to select the active Multiview layout.
Learn about the different Multiview layouts here.
Once the layout is selected, the position of the inputs in the layout can be changed using this dropdown menu.
Next, using the input dropdown menu select which HDMI input is assigned to Multiview
When using Multiview, audio from only one of the HDMI inputs is captured, and there is some nuance to which input that is. How audio is captured is explained in this section of the guide.
Changing layouts can be done while Cam Link Pro is open in another software.
For example, when using Cam Link Pro in Zoom, 4K Capture Utility can be open on the settings menu to control the layouts and inputs in real time.
Multiview and Audio
Audio will always be captured from the input that is leftmost and at the top.
For example, in this Picture-by-Picture layout, the audio from HDMI 3 will be captured.
In this Picture-in-Picture layout, audio from HDMI 1 will be captured.
In this Triple layout, the audio from HDMI 1 will be captured.
In this Quad layout, the audio from HDMI 4 will be captured.
