Twitch is updating its API to a new version starting in February.
To ensure continued support and compatibility, Stream Deck 6.0.3 adopts the new Twitch API.
This process requires re-authenticating your Twitch account in Stream Deck.
Single Twitch Account
With a single Twitch account linked with Stream Deck, a window will open in your default browser.
If you are logged in to Twitch in your browser already, you don’t need to log in again. In some cases, you may be required to enter your Twitch username and password.
Multiple Twitch Accounts
If you have multiple Twitch accounts linked with Stream Deck, the account authentication browser will pop up repeatedly.
To resolve this, follow these steps:
1) Open the Stream Deck settings
2) Go to the accounts tab
3) Remove all linked Twitch accounts by selecting the account and at the bottom of the window click on the - button.
4) Once all accounts are removed, re-add them by clicking on the + button.
Actions with a specific Twitch account selected will automatically use that account again once it is linked in Stream Deck. You do not need to re-configure those actions.
