Stream Deck can use a library of many high-quality Screensavers that can be configured to meet your specific needs.
This guide will go over how to find, download, install and use such Screensavers from Marketplace.
Requirements
- Stream Deck 6.4 or newer
- Marketplace account
Setup Steps
1) Open Marketplace by choosing the colorful Marketplace icon from the top of the Stream Deck software window. Marketplace will open up in your default Web Browser so you can log in.
You can also visit https://marketplace.elgato.com/ directly from your favorite Web Browser.
2) On the left side of Marketplace click on Stream Deck.
3) This will open the Stream Deck section. Select Screensavers.
4) You will be able to search for Screensavers at the top of the window, or browse selected Screensavers.
5) Besides the Search bar, searching for Screensavers can be done by:
Style
Use the filter to narrow down Screensavers by their visual style.
Device
Use the Type filter to narrow down Screensavers by supported Stream Deck devices.
Bundle
Use the Bundle option to select a Screensaver pack that comes with more than one Screensaver.
Free
Press Free to show Screensavers that you can acquire for no cost.
Popular, Recent or Alphabetized
Use the filter to sort Screensavers by those that are Popular, Recent or Alphabetized.
6) To preview Screensavers, click on the Screensaver's description.
7) Once you've found the perfect Screensaver, click on the Cart icon to add it to your Cart.
If you are already logged into Marketplace, you may also see a Get button. That will bypass the cart process for free Screensavers.
If you would prefer to use the Cart to acquire your Screensavers, use steps 8 through 11.
8) Many Screensavers are free to acquire and download. Place one in your cart.
9) Press Continue to checkout when you are ready to download the Screensaver via the Cart.
10) Press the Get now button to complete the process.
11) The window will change, letting you know that your downloads are ready. Press Download.
12) The Screensaver will be downloaded now as a Zip file.
13) Find the Screensaver image in the Zip file.
14) Inside the folder, you can find a link to an article, and the actual Screensaver image.
