This guide will walk you through setting up an image or animated GIF screensaver on your Stream Deck device.

Requirements
- Stream Deck 6.6 or newer
- Stream Deck with LCD keys*
*Note: Some Stream Deck models do not support animated screensavers. For more information, click here.
Set a custom screensaver
1) Open the Stream Deck application
2) Click the Preference icon.
3) On the General tab, click on Set Screensaver
4) A preview window will appear. You can drag and drop an image or a GIF into the window. You can also select it by choosing Image from file.
5) Once an image is uploaded, you can adjust it to your liking.
How to start the screensaver
There are multiple ways to start the screensaver.
Lock the computer (Static images)
The screensaver will automatically appear if the Stream Deck application is running and the computer is locked.
Set a Timer
Under Preference, select General. Look for Sleep After and select a timer.
The Sleep Action
Under the Stream Deck actions, you can add Sleep to a key. If you have multiple accounts, you can choose which Stream Deck or put all of them to sleep.
