Note: The Music and SoundFX library on Elgato Marketplace will be removed on November 15, 2025. This FAQ covers what that means for your existing content, what you can still use, and where to go if you want to keep using these tracks in the future.
Stream Deck can use a library of thousands of high-quality, royalty-free Music tracks that can be added to keys for instant playback.
This guide will cover finding, downloading, installing, and using music tracks from Marketplace.

- Stream Deck 6.4 or newer
- Marketplace account

How to Download Music Tracks for Stream Deck
1) Open Marketplace by choosing the colorful Marketplace icon from the top of the Stream Deck software window.
You can also visit https://marketplace.elgato.com/ directly from your web browser.
2) On the left side of Marketplace, click on Stream Deck.
3) Select the Music category.
4) Use the search bar at the top or browse available tracks.
5) To preview a track, click on the triangular Play button or click anywhere in the track timeline.
6) Once you've found the perfect track, click on the Cart icon to add it to your Cart.
If you are already logged into Marketplace, you may also see a Download button - it has a downward facing arrow. That will bypass the cart process for free Music items.
If you would prefer to use the Cart to acquire your Music, use steps 9 through 12.
7) Typically, Music tracks are free to acquire and download. Place one in your cart.
8) Press Continue to checkout when you are ready to download the track via the Cart.
9) Press the Get now button to complete the process.
10) The window will change, letting you know that your downloads are ready. Press Open in Stream Deck.
11) Your Web Browser will let you know that the track will be downloaded now.
It will also ask permission to open Stream Deck software.
12) You will be taken back to Stream Deck.
13) Find the Play Audio action in the action list on the right side of Stream Deck, in the SoundBoard section.
14) Drag the Play Audio action onto a key.
15) In the action's Property Inspector, click on the button with three dots to open the system File Browser.
16) The system File Browser window will automatically open to the location where Music tracks are saved.
17) Double click on the track which was just downloaded, or select a previously downloaded track.
18) In the Property Inspector of the Play Audio key the playback behavior, volume, output device, and icon can be customized.
