Stream Deck has a library of professionally created Profiles that can be added to Stream Deck for total customization.
This guide will go over how to find, download, install and use Profiles from Marketplace.
Requirements
- Stream Deck 6.4 or newer
- Marketplace account
Setup Steps

You can also visit https://marketplace.elgato.com/ directly from your favorite Web Browser.
2) On the left side of Marketplace click on Stream Deck.
3) This will open the Stream Deck section. Select Profiles.
4) You will be able to search for Profiles at the top of the window, or browse selected Profiles.

6) To preview Profiles, click on the Profile description.
7) Once you've found the perfect Profile, click on the Cart icon to add it to your Cart.
8) If you are already logged into Marketplace, and the item is free, you may see a grey Download button.
Pressing that Download button will immediately download the Profile.
If you need to use the Cart to acquire your Profile, use steps 9 through 11.
9) Many Profiles have a price. Place one in your cart.
10) Press Continue to checkout when you are ready to download the Profile via the Cart.
11) Press the Buy button to complete the process.
12) Once the Profile is on your computer, you will need to open the Zip file.
13) In this case, you can drill down further.
Each Profile folder may vary somewhat, and may not support all Operating Systems, but you are ultimately looking for files with a suffix of .streamDeckProfile.
For this example, look in the Windows folder.
14) In this example, you will find a sub-folder called Plugin. Open that folder.
15) Now you will find the actual Profiles. There may be one or more to choose from. They may be in folders with other names - it depends on how the Maker organized things.
In our case, we will select one for Windows, that supports the Stream Deck MK.2, with 15 Keys.
Double-click on that Stream Deck Profile file.
16) Stream Deck will ask "Are you sure you want to install this profile?". Choose Install to continue.
17) The Profile will immediately appear in the Stream Deck window, and on any connected device.
18) In this example, some keys have a question mark. That indicates that an additional Plugin needs to be installed to use those particular Actions. You will likely find that Plugin at Marketplace.
In our example, the Discord Profile is looking for some Actions that the Discord Plugin from Elgato makes available.
After you download the needed Plugin, things are immediately fixed.
19) It is good practice to check each folder in the Profile Zip file that you downloaded. You may find extra files, including Icons that you can apply as needed to various keys while using that Profile.
Ultimately, you can customize any Key or Action that a downloaded Profile uses, in the same way that you could edit a Profile that you created from scratch.
20) You can visit the Stream Deck Preferences, by selecting the icon that looks like a cog/wheel:
Go to the Profiles tab to make any further adjustments.
If required, you can associate the Profile with an application, so that the Profile will automatically become active in Stream Deck when you switch to that application.
21) If you want your new Profile to be the default, then highlight it and select "Make this my default profile".
