Windows
What’s new in Wave Link 1.9?
Wave Link 1.9 requires an update of your virtual audio drivers. This will reset your Windows audio settings, as well as any custom audio configuration in OBS Studio, Discord, and other apps where you use Wave Link. After updating, make sure to review your audio settings.
🎮 Low Latency Mode
Now you can turn on low latency when routing games through Wave Link’s “Game” channel. This mode uses an optimized audio path to minimize latency, or audio delay, while gaming.
With Low Latency Mode on, you can reduce audio latency by up to 50%.*
Note that when this mode is on, your VST2 audio effects will not be processed through the monitor submix. However, VST3 audio effects will continue to work as normal.
*Actual value may vary based on your unique setup and configurations.

👂 Stream Mix to hardware
You can now play your Stream Mix through a hardware device like headphones, capture cards, and speakers. This makes dual-PC setups a breeze—just select your capture card as the audio output.

🔁 Back up your audio settings
Windows updates are notorious for resetting all kinds of settings, like audio outputs in your favorite apps. Wave Link now automatically saves your configuration and Windows audio routing*, which you can safely restore at any time. For extra peace of mind, you can even save out custom backups.
*Note: This restores your Windows-based audio routing. For apps like Discord and OBS Studio, you may still need to reapply your input and output devices.
