Note: Wave Link has now been updated to version 3. This reimagining has all-new features and an improved interface overall. Wave Link 3 is free, and will also work with a wide variety of microphones, not just those from Elgato.
Wave Link 2 has reached End of Life. It will still be available for download, but our development focus will be on Wave Link 3 moving forward. We look forward to improve audio for an increasing audience of great creators.

What's new in Wave Link 3.3 (macOS)?
🎙️ Corsair VOXARA Support
Wave Link now supports the Corsair VOXARA USB gaming condenser microphone. Route it alongside your other inputs, activate Voice Focus to remove background noise and room reverb in real time, and customize its RGB lighting with Multi-Color, Solid Color, or Level Meter mode, or sync it across your setup with iCUE Murals.
🎚️ New Audio Engine
Wave Link’s audio engine has been rebuilt from the ground up. You get fewer audio dropouts and clicks, less delay when you monitor yourself, and a mixer that stays steady when you add hardware devices in or remove them.
🌍 Wave Link in 11 More Languages
Wave Link now speaks Danish, Dutch, French, Italian, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Spanish, Swedish and Traditional Chinese, and the German and Japanese translations have been refreshed. Wave Link follows your macOS language setting, so there’s nothing to switch on.
⚙️ Simpler Driver Installation
Installing Wave Link’s audio driver no longer hands you over to the macOS Installer and leaves a window for you to close. Wave Link installs the driver itself and shows you each step as it goes.
🛠️ Improvements & bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where Wave Link could stay completely silent after launching — no microphone level meters and no output — until another app started playing audio.
- Fixed an issue where Wave Link could crash on startup on macOS 27 when no usable audio inputs were found.
- Fixed an issue where a single unreadable entry in your configuration reset everything — every mix, channel, routing and device setting. Only the damaged entry is skipped now.
- Fixed an issue where removing a channel could crash Wave Link.
- Fixed an issue where Voice Focus was unavailable on Wave XLR Pro, and on Wave:3 MK.2, Wave XLR MK.2 and XLR Dock MK.2.
- Wave XLR Pro: Fixed an issue where channel level meters showed your signal before effects were applied. Meters now match what you actually hear.
- Wave XLR Pro: Fixed an issue where the device also appeared as a separate third-party device in your input and output lists.
- Wave XLR Pro: Fixed an issue where ducking offered inputs belonging to a second connected Wave XLR Pro.
- MK.2 devices: Fixed an issue where a channel’s effect icon stayed grey while a hardware effect was active.
- MK.2 devices: Fixed an issue where clicking a colored band handle in the EQ settings showed no information popover.
- Fixed an issue where a fresh install could set up a different set of app channels each time.
- Fixed an issue where Wave Link used more memory the longer it stayed open.
- Fixed an issue where more information than expected about your Marketplace account was saved to log files.
- Fixed an issue where the menu bar’s Main Output Device list could show devices that weren’t actually connected.
- Fixed an issue where installing or updating a plugin from Marketplace could fail.
- Fixed an issue where “Export to Stream Deck” listed Stream Deck Mini and Stream Deck Neo, which aren’t supported devices.
- Fixed an issue where log files could grow larger than they should.
- Fixed an issue where local usage data could build up indefinitely. Entries older than a week are now cleared out automatically.
- Exporting your logs now also collects crash, hang and resource reports, including ones macOS has already filed away.
