Starting with Windows 11 24H2, Microsoft has introduced new privacy permissions related to Wi-Fi and location access. Without these permissions enabled, Control Center cannot find nearby Wi-Fi to connect your lighting accessory.
Follow the steps below to enable location permissions and let Control Center find nearby Wi-Fi networks to pair your lighting accessory to.
Enable Wi-Fi and location permissions
1. Open the Windows Privacy & Security settings panel
2. Scroll down to the App permissions section
3. Enter the Location settings. At the top, Location services need to be enabled
4. Next, scroll down and find Elgato Control Center. Ensure that location access is toggled on.
Note: If you do not see Control Center in the list, open Control Center and click on the plus icon (+) to add a new light and start the Wi-Fi search. Control Center will then appear in the location settings.
5. Return to Control Center and start pairing by clicking the + icon or Add accessory button.
