What ports does Thunderbolt™ 3 Pro Dock have?

The following article is for a product that is now considered Legacy (EOL) status. Because of this, the information below may not match what is possible with current Elgato hardware and software.

Elgato Thunderbolt™ 3 Pro Dock has the following ports and characteristics:
 

  • 2x Thunderbolt ™ 3 (USB-C) with support for:
    • Thunderbolt (40 Gb/s)
    • Computer Charging (up to 85 W)
    • Device Power (up to 15 W)
    • USB 3.1 Gen 2 (up to 10 Gb/s)
    • DisplayPort (up to 4K at 60 Hz)
  • DisplayPort with support for:
    • DisplayPort 1.2 (up to 4K at 60 Hz)
    • HDMI 1.4b (up to 4K at 30 Hz)
  • RJ45 10/100/1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet
  • 2x USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type A connector (5 Gb/s, 1.5 A, USB Battery Charging 1.2 & UASP)
  • 2x USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type C connector  (10Gb/s, 1.5A, USB Battery Charging 1.2 & UASP)
  • 3.5 mm Headphone Output (amplified analog stereo)
  • 3.5 mm combo Line out / Microphone Input (amplified analog stereo)
  • SD card reader (UHS-II)
  • micro SD card reader (UHS-II)
  • Power Input (DC 20 V, 8.5 A)


Please Note: If you are planning on charging a Windows Laptop, make sure that it supports Power Delivery over Thunderbolt 3.  As for Mac Laptops with Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 3 Pro Dock can charge them via that connection.
