Elgato Game Capture HD60 S+ can use Elgato 4K Capture Utility 1.6.3 and above for Windows 10.
Elgato Game Capture HD60 S+ cannot use Elgato Game Capture HD Software for Windows 10 at all.
Elgato Game Capture HD60 S+ can use other Windows software, including OBS Studio, and UVC compatible applications.

macOS Software from Elgato
Elgato Game Capture HD60 S+ can use Elgato Game Capture HD 2.11.8 and above for macOS. You can record up to 1080p using that software.

Elgato Game Capture HD60 S+ can use other macOS software, including OBS Studio, and UVC compatible software. You may be able to record 4K, depending on what software you use.
macOS Software from Other Developers
Elgato Game Capture HD60 S+ supports various macOS software via UVC, including:
• Ecamm Live
• OBS Studio
In recent versions of macOS, Elgato Game Capture HD60 S+ will need to be given Permission to use your Mac's Camera and Microphone. You can do that via the Security (or Security & Privacy) section of the System Preferences.
