Elgato Wave:3 featuring real-time monitoring to ensure the microphone level is set at the proper loudness while creating content.
How to use Real-Time Monitoring
Requirements: Headphones with a 3.5mm analog connection
To begin, connect the headphones to the headphone output on the back of the Wave:3
Adjusting Mic/PC Mix Using the Wave:3 Multifunction dial
1) Click the dial until the LED under the right most crossed icon
2) Rotate the dial to counterclockwise to increase the amount of real-time monitoring of the microphone to the headphone output. Rotate the dial clockwise to increase the amount of USB audio from the connected PC or Mac.
To listen to an equal balance of real-time monitoring and USB audio from the connected PC or Mac, set the LED level to the center LED.
Adjust Monitoring/PC Mix using Wave Link
While Wave:3 is connected to a PC or Mac, Wave Link can be used to adjust the mic and computer mic ratio.
1) Open Wave Link
2) Click on the Wave:3 input header to open the Wave:3 hardware settings
3. Adjust and move the slider for Mic/PC mix to the desired balance. While adjusting the slider a percentage will be shown
