What's new in Wave Link 3.0?
Wave Link 3.0 is out of beta and officially here — and on macOS, it's packing some features that take full advantage of the platform. From Siri integration to a gorgeous Liquid Glass UI, this is Wave Link like you've never seen it before.
🎙️ Introducing Wave Next — The future of creator audio starts here
Wave Link 3.0 is the software backbone of Wave Next — built from the ground up to unlock everything the Wave FX Processor makes possible. Whether you're setting up the Wave:3 MK.2, Wave XLR MK.2, XLR Dock MK.2, or the all-new Wave XLR Pro, Wave Link 3.0 gives you full control over your hardware's onboard DSP effects, Clipguard 2.0 protection, and VST Insert capabilities — all from one place, right out of the box.
Pair it with a Stream Deck + XL and you've got hands-on control over your entire audio setup without ever leaving your workflow.

🍎 Siri & Shortcuts Integration
Control Wave Link hands-free with Siri, or automate your entire audio setup using Apple Shortcuts. Mute channels, adjust volumes, switch mixes, and more — all available as App Intents with Spotlight search support and undo capability. Just ask, and Wave Link listens.
🎛️ Redesigned Effect Rack
Working with audio effects is now faster and more intuitive. Copy and paste effects between channels with Cmd+C / Cmd+V, select multiple effects at once for batch operations, rename effects with a double-click, and add effects even while Sound Check is playing.
⚡ Improved Audio Performance
Wave Link 3.0 on macOS delivers significantly reduced audio latency, especially for app audio routing. A new Performance Mode option in settings optimizes buffer handling for lower latency, while improved drift compensation ensures stable, glitch-free playback.
✨ Refreshed UI
Wave Link has a fresh new look with an optional Liquid Glass visual styling throughout the app, consistent icon sizing, and an updated sidebar layout. You'll also find volume percentages on output devices and mix cards, improved output status warnings when devices are muted or unavailable, and an anchored connection status overlay for Wave MK.2 devices.
🎚️ Channel & Mix Management
Managing your channels just got a lot more flexible. Installed apps are now shown in add-channel menus with filtering, you can drag and drop apps directly onto channel cards, transfer apps from the Create Channel button, and delete channels and mixes with undo support via the context menu.

📦 EQ Presets from Marketplace
EQ presets from the Elgato Marketplace can now be applied directly inside Wave Link — no extra steps needed.
🎛️ Updated Wave Link Stream Deck Plugin — Press and Hold for effects
The Wave Link plugin for Stream Deck has been updated with a powerful new trick: press and hold. Assign any audio effect — like a voice changer — to a key and hold it down to activate it only while you're pressing. Release and you're instantly back to your normal sound. Perfect for those moments when you want a quick effect without committing to it.

Getting set up with a new Wave device is smoother than ever, with an improved device onboarding flow, new mixer onboarding to help you get started, updated imagery for Wave Neo, Wave:3 MK.2, and XLR Dock MK.2, and a smarter first-launch setup that waits for device and app discovery before configuring defaults.
