Important Notes
- When capturing PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2, connecting a headset will remove audio from the HDMI connection. An Elgato Chat Link Pro Cable or third party option would be needed.
Missing any or all audio in capture
- Ensure the console is set to Stereo or Linear PCM audio where applicable.
- Test the console directly to a TV to confirm audio is properly output by the console. If no audio is heard, test another HDMI cable.
- Verify the audio can be heard on the TV connected to the HDMI output from the capture card.
- Check that the OS (Operating System) audio is set to 48Khz and not muted.
- Confirm the capture card is set to HDMI audio.
