Note: If Wave Link MicrophoneFX is not selected as your default input device, it will need to be manually selected in applications such as Discord, Microsoft Teams, ETC.
Set Wave Link MicrophoneFX As a Default Device
Most applications will use your default input device for audio input unless manually configured. To change the default input device, follow these steps.
1) Select the Apple Icon > System Preferences.
2) A new window will appear. Select Sound.
3) Select Input and Wave Link MicrophoneFX.
4) Once the Wave Link MicrophoneFX is highlighted, it's your default microphone. You can now close the Sound window.
If an application is not picking up your sound effects, ensure the correct mic is selected and the application doesn't offer additional voice options such as Noise Suppression.
