Note: Wave Link has now been updated to version 3. This reimagining has all-new features and an improved interface overall. Wave Link 3 is free, and will also work with a wide variety of microphones, not just those from Elgato.
This guide will walk through a first-time setup with Wave Link 2.

Requirements
A compatible Wave Link device:
- Wave:1
- Wave:3
- Wave Neo
- Wave XLR
- Stream Deck +
- Stream Deck + with XLR Dock
Software
- Windows 11 64-bit
- macOS Sonoma 14.2 or later
- Wave Link 2.0 or newer
Wave Link 2.0 or newer can be downloaded at elgato.com/downloads.
Installing Wave Link (Windows)
1) Disconnect your Wave device if it is currently connected to your computer.
2) Download Wave Link from elgato.com/downlads.
3) Once the download is finished, install Wave Link.
4) After the installation, connect your Wave microphone to your computer.
Installing Wave Link (macOS)
1) Disconnect your Wave device if it is currently connected to your computer.
2) Download Wave Link from elgato.com/downlads.
3) Once the download is finished, install Wave Link.
- After the Wave Link installation, connect your Wave device and Allow access.

Adding Audio Inputs
1) Hover over an available blank channel and click the + icon.
2) A list of available audio inputs will appear. Select the one you want to add.
3) Once added, the input will appear in the list. You can add up to 8 customizable inputs.
