Elgato Capture App — Change recording and snapshot save location

This guide will cover how to change the recording and snapshot save location. 

 

Change Recording and Snapshot location

 

1) In the Elgato Capture app, tap the preferences button at the top right.

2) Tap on Photo Library and select Custom Location to choose a different location such as an external SSD. 

By default, videos and snapshots are saved to your devices Photo Library.
