Elgato Light Strip Pro can be connected to a Wi-Fi network for wireless control from a PC, Mac, iOS device, Android Device, or Elgato Stream Deck.
Wi-Fi Network Requirements
Elgato Light Strip requires a WiFi network to connect wirelessly. The following configurations are supported:
- Wireless configuration: 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz, 802.11 a/b/g/n
- Supported encryption: WPA2 + AES, WPA + TKIP/AES
Advanced Network Settings
Ensure that these services are enabled on the Wi-Fi router:
- Multicast
- Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP)
- mDNS
Ensure that these services are disabled on the router, as they could prevent Light Strip Pro from pairing or wireless control from other devices:
- AP/client isolation
- Virtual Private Networks (VPNs)
- Proxy Servers
- IGMP Proxy
