This guide will walk you through using Sound Check, a built-in tool in Wave Link that lets you record and play back your voice. It’s useful for testing your mic, adjusting audio effects like Voice Focus, and fine-tuning your sound settings in real time.

Wave Link 2.0 or newer can be downloaded at elgato.com/downloads.
How to use Sound Check
1) Open Wave Link.
2) Navigate to your connected Wave device input channel.
3) Under the Wave Input section, click Audio Effects.
4) Sound Check will appear at the bottom of the Audio Effects window.
5) Click the Record button to begin capturing your voice.
6) Press the Record button again to stop the recording.
7) Once finished, press the Play button to hear your recording or delete it by pressing the trash icon.
Note: You can turn on or off audio effects to see how your voice sounds.
