Note: Wave Link has now been updated to version 3. This reimagining has all-new features and an improved interface overall. Wave Link 3 is free, and will also work with a wide variety of microphones, not just those from Elgato.
Wave Link 2 has reached End of Life. It will still be available for download, but our development focus will be on Wave Link 3 moving forward. We look forward to improve audio for an increasing audience of great creators.
Wave Link supports up to nine inputs. Those can be virtual inputs, such as games, music, alerts, and web browser audio. Those can also be physical inputs, such as line-in inputs and other microphones.
At this time, Wave Link does not support multiple Wave microphones being connected to the same computer.
Using Multiple Wave Microphones in Wave Link
At this time, adding additional Wave:1, Wave:3, or Wave XLR devices to Wave Link when one of these devices is already in use is not supported, and can cause various issues.
Multiple Wave Microphones Can Be Connected to a Computer
Multiple Wave microphones can be connected to the same computer and used at the same time.
However, Wave Link will not work properly in this particular setup. Wave Link should be closed if multiple Wave microphones are connected to one computer.
Multiple Wave microphones can be used in other software, such as OBS Studio, XSplit and more. Adding more than one Wave microphone will work as normal.
Using Multiple 3rd party Microphones in Wave Link
3rd party microphones can be added to Wave Link as inputs. Up to eight additional microphones can be added as inputs into Wave Link, with one input reserved for the Wave microphone powering Wave Link.
