Wave Link can be configured with up to nine different inputs. One of these inputs is reserved for the Wave microphone, and the other eight are customizable.
To add an input, hover over an available input and click on the + icon.
There are two types of inputs:
Virtual Inputs
In the image above these are System, Browser, Voice Chat, SFX, Game, Aux 1, and Aux 2.
These inputs show up in Windows 10 as output devices. For instance, there is a Wave Link System output device. When sound is played through the Wave Link System Output, it goes into the Wave Link System Input in Wave Link.
Physical Inputs
These are inputs such as other microphones, line-in or other audio input sources. This type of input can be used to add a non-Wave microphone to Wave Link, or to add a line-in sound source.
