This guide includes multiple different troubleshooting steps to resolve video quality issues with EpocCam. 

Bit rate

EpocCam uses up to 3 megabits per second (3Mbps) bandwidth while streaming video over WiFi connection. Make sure your wireless network has enough available bandwidth.

Disable Bluetooth

Disable Bluetooth on both the iPhone/iPad and PC. Bluetooth devices can interfere with WiFi connections.

WiFi connection

The usable WiFi range is about 10 meters while using EpocCam. Try to keep the iPhone/iPad and PC as close to the WiFi router each other as possible.

Use a USB connection

4) For best quality, use the USB connection whenever possible.

NDI uses more bandwidth

5) Newtek NDI streaming requires much more bandwidth than using EpocCam drivers. Please consider using other connection methods.

Device model

iPhones and iPads have different video quality depending on the generation, and newer devices will have improved video quality due to improved cameras in those devices.
