This guide will cover how to set up EpocCam with a macOS.

System Requirements (macOS 10.15 or later)
Operating System:
- macOS Big Sur 11.0 or later
Software
- Camera Hub 1.4 or later
EpocCam iOS App:
- iOS/iPadOS 14 or later
System Requirements (macOS versions before 10.15)
Operating System:
- macOS 10.11 is the minimum OS version for EpocCam app versions before 2021.3
macOS Driver Versions:
- Drivers 3.1 and earlier work with macOS 10.11 at the minimum
Apple App Store Versions:
- EpocCam 2022.1 and earlier support macOS versions before 10.15. They require older macOS drivers that support macOS 10.13 and earlier.
- EpocCam 2021.2 and earlier are unavailable for download if you are a new EpocCam customer.
- EpocCam 2021.3, the currently available, requires newer drivers that only work with macOS 10.14 and above.
EpocCam App:
- iOS/iPadOS 14 or newer
Camera Hub Setup
1) Install Camera Hub from elgato.com/downloads.
2) Follow the Elgato Camera Hub Setup Wizard.
3) Once the installation is successful, you can move the installation file to the trash.
EpocCam — Wireless Setup
1) Install EpocCam your iOS device.
2) Open EpocCam on your iOS device.
3) Open Camera Hub.
4) Once EpocCam is detected, you'll be able to select the Camera, Bit Rate, Zoom, Picture settings, Snap Lenses, and more.
ℹ️ If the connection cannot be established, check the Connection mode is set to Wireless or Auto.
EpocCam — Wired Setup
1) Install EpocCam your iOS device.
2) Connect your iOS device using Lighting or a USB-C cable.
3) Open Camera Hub.
4) Once EpocCam is detected, you'll be able to select the Camera, Bit Rate, Zoom, Picture settings, Snap Lenses, and more.
ℹ️ If the connection cannot be established, try using another cable or moving to a different USB port.
