Mac:

来自 PC 的 Thunderbolt™ 信号通常只包含一个显示信号。

特殊情况
1) 连接到 Apple Thunderbolt Display 的 Thunderbolt™ 端口时，DisplayPort 显示器将无法工作。

为什么显示器数量有限制？
Thunderbolt™ 将 PCIe 和 DisplayPort 信号多路复用在一起。
根据 Mac 或 PC，Thunderbolt™ 总线上最多可以有两个 DisplayPort 信号。
当 DisplayPort 信号从计算机通过 Thunderbolt™ 传来并进入 Elgato Thunderbolt™ Dock时，其中之一被解复用。该 DisplayPort 信号已准备好使用。
解复用的 DisplayPort 信号由 Elgato Thunderbolt™ Dock 进入 HDMI。这样，Thunderbolt™ 信号中仍有一个 DisplayPort 信号复用，以供稍后在 Thunderbolt™ 链中使用。
第二个 DisplayPort 信号只能由另一个 Thunderbolt™ 设备（例如 Apple Thunderbolt Display）或另一个 Elgato Thunderbolt™ Dock.
如果在使用 HDMI 端口时将 DisplayPort 显示器连接到 Thunderbolt™ 连接，DisplayPort 显示器将不会点亮。在这种情况下，Thunderbolt™ 连接上只有 Thunderbolt™ 信号可用，DisplayPort 显示器无法识别。
尝试将两个非 Thunderbolt™ 显示器连接到 Elgato Thunderbolt™ Dock时，您可以通过 HDMI 端口或 DisplayPort 获得信号，但不能同时使用两者。
如果选择使用 HDMI 设备，则一个复用信号保留，与 Thunderbolt™ 端口关联，仅适用于 Thunderbolt™ 设备。
如果选择 DisplayPort（通过 Thunderbolt™ 端口），则就显示信号而言，Thunderbolt™ 总线会终止。DisplayPort 显示器将正常工作，但 HDMI 端口将无法使用。
