Dial Functions

Here are the available functions for Stream Deck + dials.

  • Rotate
  • Press
  • Touch strip - Tap

How to add an Action to a Dial

Elgato Stream Deck + features four 360° dials that can be assigned an action.

 

1) To add an action, open the Dials tab.

ℹ️Only the available plugins and actions will appear. Not all Stream Deck plugins support dials. 

 

2) Select an action and drag it to a dial.

3) Depending on the action, you can adjust the available options for the dial.

ℹ️ In this example, we added a Hotkey to our dial and assigned three Hotkeys.

 

Once the actions are set, the touch screen will display what the dial controls. Pressing the dial or tapping the touch strip will offer identical functionality. Some plugins may include secondary touch strip long-press functionality.
