Note: Wave Link has now been updated to version 3. This reimagining has all-new features and an improved interface overall. Wave Link 3 is free, and will also work with a wide variety of microphones, not just those from Elgato.
Wave Link 2 has reached End of Life. It will still be available for download, but our development focus will be on Wave Link 3 moving forward. We look forward to improve audio for an increasing audience of great creators.
The Wave Link stream mix can be output to a hardware output such as a capture card, making dual PC setups easier. Other outputs, such as headphones or speakers, can also be selected.
Note: These steps are not required if you want to add Wave Link Stream Mix to OBS Studio or other applications running on the same PC. See the setup steps for adding Wave Link to OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop, and Twitch Studio.
System requirements
These are the system requirements for using Stream Mix hardware output.
- Wave Link 1.9 or newer
- Wave device which unlocks Wave Link
Set up Stream Mix hardware output
1) Click on the Stream Mix dropdown.
2) Select an available output device.
