This setup will allow you to record PS4 game and chat with your Elgato Game Capture HD, Elgato Game Capture HD60, and Elgato Game Capture HD60 Pro.

This setup does not record your own voice, you will need a separate microphone connected to your computer for your own commentary.

Setup Steps

---

1) Connect the Astro A50 transmitter’s USB power and optical audio to the PS4.

2) Turn on your Astro A50 transmitter and A50 headset.

3) Turn on your PS4.

4) Go to Settings.

5) Go to Devices.

6) Go to Audio Devices.

7) Highlight “Output Device” and press X on the controller.

8) Change from “USB Headset (Astro A50 Transmitter)” to “TV or AV Amplifier”

Game and chat audio will output to your Astro A50 via optical and your Elgato Gaming device via HDMI.
